Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our growing this role you will diagnose repair inspect and upgrade vehicles while ensuring high standards of safety quality and productivity. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnostics & Repairs
Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems to accurately diagnose issues.
Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning vehicle components and verify successful operation after service.
Accessory Installation (OEM & Aftermarket)
Install a wide variety of OEM and aftermarket accessories such as roof racks tow hitches parking assist systems lighting upgrades body kits wireless chargers exhaust components decals and other manufacturer-specified equipment.
Utilize hand tools power tools and specialty automotive equipment for installation and minor fabrication.
Perform quality assurance inspections to ensure installations meet OEM and company standards.
Documentation & Workflow
Maintain detailed and accurate logs work orders and inspection reports.
Communicate effectively with team members supervisors and customers to support efficient workflow and job completion.
Assist with inventory of parts tools and accessories and report shortages or discrepancies.
Shop Standards
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment at all times.
Adhere to all safety policies PPE requirements and company/industry compliance standards.
Meet or exceed production goals and quality expectations.
Qualifications
Valid TWIC is required.
Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician.
Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical hydraulic and electronic vehicle systems.
Experience with OEM or aftermarket accessory installation preferred.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment lifts power tools and specialized automotive tools.
Valid drivers license; ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (preferred in port/terminal roles).
Physically able to stand walk lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally kneel crouch climb or crawl as required.
Dependable selfmotivated and able to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
