The Need
Forover25 years IJM has pioneered the workto protectvulnerable people from violence.9 out of 9 times in the last decade IJMs Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% forvery largepopulations of people in poverty.As we grow to expand our impact toprotect 500 million people from violence weareseekingatemporary CoordinatorUS Mobilization.
This role will develop andimprovethe operational structures processes and procedures that allow the Mobilization Team to scale the number and quality of relationships with supporters volunteers students and partners. TheCoordinatorwill provide excellent intra and cross departmental support be highly detail oriented and solutions driven and work confidently with confidential and time sensitive information in afast-pacedprofessional environment.
This is a temporary fixedterm position for 3 months working 20 hours per week. It is hybrid for candidates in the Washington DC area (onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays) and remote for nonlocal candidates. It reports tothe National Programs Director for US Mobilizationand is only available for candidates with the right to work in the US.
Responsibilities:
Mobilization Operations and Team Management
Manage the Mobilization inbox(es) ensuringtimely professional responses and that all opportunities are captured and routed appropriately.
Coordinate team rhythms including staff meetings planning sessions and key internal communications.
Support Mobilization team members in ensuringaccurateand up to date records of key engagements and events within Salesforce CRM.
Communication
Assistin the development of communication materials including presentations emails meeting briefs and partnership proposals.
Support the Champion Student and Peer to Peer audiences through external campaign communications and onboarding processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in relatedfield required(communication non-profit management etc.).
Proventrack recordof managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office suite of tools.
Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to the effective use of technology tools.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in problem-solvingplanningand implementation skills.

A statement of faith should describe your Christian faith and how you see it as relevant to your involvement with IJM.The statement can either be incorporated into the cover letter or submitted as a separate document and should include at a minimum a description of your spiritual disciplines (prayer study etc.) and your current fellowship or place of worship.
