We are seeking an enthusiastic caring and creative teacher to join our successful and friendly primary school just outside Uckfield. This role is full-time and fixed until 31 August 2026 with a start date from February teaching a Year 23 and 4 class. Its a wonderful opportunity to become part of a supportive school community where you can make a real difference.
We warmly welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and will provide a comprehensive induction mentoring and ongoing professional development to support your success
The successful candidate will:
Have a strong knowledge of the curriculum and understand the role of assessment in securing progress.
Have experience working within KS1 or KS2 (although this is not essential for ECTs).
Be passionate about providing high-quality learning opportunities.
Be an excellent practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.
Show a firm commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities.
Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
Demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills.
Build positive relationships with pupils colleagues and parents.
