We are currently looking for highly motivated students to join us in our Boston Massachusetts USA office for a 6-month co-op running from July 14th December 18th 2026. This is a hybrid position where you are expected to be in the office Tuesday-Thursday with the opportunity to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
Position Responsibilities:
- Contributing to our team of highly skilled Cloud Engineers/Software Engineers/Data Engineers dedicated to accelerating the adoption of digital innovation across Manulife.
- Effectively complete projects and otherduties asassigned in a collaborative and challenging environment.
- Implementing and building solutions that will support advancing our target state architecture and aligning with our clients strategic vision.
- Working closely with the business teams to gather requirements for new orchanges to existingbusiness solutions.
- Participating in community-driven projects which are focused on removing roadblocks and empowering teams.
- Help us withtechnologyprovisioning configuration monitoring maintenance release management migration or decommissioning better faster and simpler.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Experience developing modern applications in at least one programming language (Java Python Go Java script etc.)
- Experience collaborating on and/or managing code in a source code versioning system (GitBitBucket etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server Oracle and MySQL
