Youll be part of a highly collaborative cross-functional environment playing a key role in delivering core financial accounting activities and supporting monthlyquarterlyand annual reporting for our Hospitals Finance team.

Your part in our UnitingCare team:
Undertake month end close processes and provide general ledger account analysis reconciliation and verification activities as.
Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
Undertake internal order reporting for Fundraising and Grants.
Collaborate with other Finance teams and diverse stakeholders where responsibilities are shared and foster positive and proactive working relationships.
Proactively recommend and contribute to improvements to financial controls processes and procedures that meet business and contractual requirements.
Prepare high quality grant funding acquittals in line with internal and external deadlines and contractual reporting requirements.
Assist with the BAS and annual Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) return as.
Assist with SGC Statement calculation and submission as.
Assistwith preparation of financial reports for the organisationin accordance withrelevant regulationsstandardsand contractual obligations.
Assistwith internal and external auditactivity.
Maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Developdocumentandmaintainpolicies and procedures relevant to the financial accounting andreportingaccountabilities and responsibilities.
Undertake other duties as and when directed within the scope of the role and the capabilities of the incumbent.

Tertiary qualification in AccountingBusinessor a related field ideally with a CAANZ/CPA or similar membership(or working towards).
Preferred: Experiencewithin Not-For-Profitorganisations Healthcareor Hospitals
Strong finance and accountingexpertise with solid knowledge of relevant accounting standards and legislation.
Advanced technology skills especially in Excel with experience in tools like Microsoft DynamicsPowerQuery PowerPivot and Power BI highly regarded.
A collaborative organised team player who applies logicalproblem-solvingto deliver quality outcomes.
Skilled in investigationinterpretationand analysis witha track recordof improving processes.
Clear and confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills able to engage effectively with nonfinancial audiences.
High attention to detailaccuracyand a proactive approach to getting things done.
