The Role
The purpose of this position is to lead NWP Career Services on all campuses market NWP students and apprentices to employers and maintain current information on employers and student employment opportunities. Serving as the primary dual credit liaison between high schools and NWP the Career Services Coordinator also plays a critical role in the development of dual credit agreements for the institution and secondary school authorities. This involves assessing the needs of school divisions and working with the institution and faculty to respond to those needs. This position will also work with the NWP community and external partners to expand the range of experiential and work-integrated learning opportunities for NWP students. This includes building relationships with organizations and employers identifying relevant programming technologies funding and other WIL related supports. The ultimate goal of this position is to lead Career Services and drive the successful transition of NWP students into a career or further studies through development of transferable skills and access to meaningful work experience.
This is a leave replacement position from February 16 2026 to March 26 2027. There may be a possibility of extension subject to the return date of the incumbent.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of study (i.e. education social sciences counseling public or business administration or management) and at least 2 year of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Some travel off site to local schools career fairs or other relevant agencies may be required.
