Job Summary

In preschool our goal is to foster creativity independence and decision-making to raise confident creative and compassionate students. As lead teacher you will promote early literacy skills and language proficiency in the context of research-based and field-tested content in ELA math science and social studies. You will weave mathematical learning into preschool students daily activities. You will incorporate purposeful play in the activities for the day and focus on the academic social physical and emotional well-being of students to prepare them for robust learning in Pre-K and Responsible for the overall supervision of students in your classroom. Implement approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule that support Saint Joseph Schools curriculum and programming. Meet or exceed benchmarks in the areas of: oSchool Mission Faith Community and Parent OutreachoClassroom managementoDelivery of instructionoMonitoring assessment and follow-upoProfessional responsibilitiesPromote a classroom environment that is focused on individualized and small group instruction and student ongoing student assessments and work with students to provide a differentiated learning experience.
