Job Summary
MOR PPM Inc. is seeking a QC Welding Inspector for a project in Temple TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Must have equivalent experience level of a journeyman in the particular craftwork being inspected.
- Three (3) years experience in quality control work relating to industrial construction and/or modification activities.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the codes nondestructive examination and testing methods associated with the craft work being inspected
Qualifications
- Microsoft Office
- Inspector certification(s) required
- Reading blueprints and plans required
- Interpersonal skills such as oral verbal and written communication and reasoning is required.
- CWI Certification
Physical Demands
- Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
- Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees alarms and other job-related noises
- Visual acuity depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
