HHHSPPD Scheduler-Palos Health Home Health Part-time Day Shift

This position is part-time 40 hours in a 2-week pay period.  2x- 8-hours shifts one week 3x - 8-hours shfits the second week.    Hours are: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Weekend coverage every 3 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Schedules patient visits.
• Develops staffing schedules triage and on-call schedules.
• Interacts with patients their representatives physicians physician office staff departmental staff to gather and ensure accuracy of demographic billing and clinical information.
• Develops and distributes required forms documents and reports with accurate patient information.
• Enters all data related to scheduling needs.
• Maintains exemplary level of customer service.
• Reviews new and previously recorded information with patient physician and others to ensure accurate collection and analysis of information.
• Communicates instructions and arrival times to patient for each visits.
• Accepts and Directs patients calls to appropriate staff or charge nurse.
• Communicates schedule changes to appropriate staff and or patients.
• Works with charge nurses and managers to maintain schedules   

Qualifications :

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in a customer service role.

Preferred:

• Bachelors degree.
• Previous experience with an electronic medical records system.
