FLSA Status: Exempt (salaried)

Position Status: Full-Time

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM subject to change based on project assignments/deadlines

Base Pay Range: $150000 - $165000

Travel: 0-10%

Job Summary

The Associate General Counsel will be a key member of the legal team working closely with the General Counsel and business leaders to support the Companys transactional operational and litigation matters.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Work directly with the General Counsel on most if not all transactions including acquisitions third-party management and asset management arrangements development projects financing and refinancing legal due diligence entity formation and maintenance and joint venture structuring.
Draft review and negotiate a wide range of commercial real estate and corporate agreements.
Oversee litigation intake and manage the Companys litigation matters including coordination with outside counsel.
Serve as the lead in-house attorney on operational matters requiring legal input including customer disputes and other claims.
Provide practical business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing.
3 years of relevant legal experience with substantial transactional experience.
Experience managing litigation and working with outside counsel.
Strong drafting negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior leadership.
