Job Summary
The Strategy Associate will support the business development structuring and management of L&Gs investment strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Support development and oversight of prospect/client strategies to ensure they are optimized for prospect/client-specific investment objectives and constraints
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current investment market economic issues building block strategies and L&G firm views
- Maintain a detailed understanding of market instruments applicable to the assigned clients/sectors
- Work on the development of systems for modeling/monitoring risk
- Model the outcomes of different asset and derivative strategies to match client liabilities or risk objectives
- Use technical expertise to explain the outcomes of analysis and obtain agreement on appropriate actions with the relevant parties
- Support preparation of presentations for investment consultants clients and prospects
- Respond to client consultant and third party requests for information in a comprehensive and timely manner
- Support thought leadership research and publication
- Provide specialist reporting as required
Qualifications :
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor degree required
- 2 years investment management or similar experience
Additional Information :
Salary: $80000 to $95000
The starting salary offer will vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to the applicants education job-related experience skills and abilities geographic location and market factors. This position is also eligible to participate in the companys annual discretionary bonus plan.
