Software Engineer ETL Full Stack (Python SQL ETL Workflows)

It provides comprehensive store-level data that helps businesses understand how their products are performing in the market benchmark against competitors and identify growth opportunities. Charlink and Jarvis models are used to predict product placements to its ideal hierarchy product tree. Developing frontend applications to interact with ML models integrating inference codes and providing tools and patterns for enhancing our MLOps cycle. 

The ideal candidate has strong software design and programming experience with some expertise in cloud computing and big data technologies and strong communication and management skills. Our Software Engineering platform is based in Java React Spring Boot Typescript Javascript Sql and Snowflake and we continue to adopt the best of breed in cloud-native low-latency technologies.

Responsibilities 

• Develop and sustain robust scalable solutions through Python programming leveraging ETL technologies backend frameworks such as Java and modern frontend frameworks like Angular. 
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions 
• Optimize application performance usability and responsiveness 
• Conduct code reviews write unit tests and ensure adherence to coding standards 
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues 
• Contribute to architecture and technical documentation 

Qualifications :

• Strong proficiency in Python ETL Tech stack 
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and tools (e.g. Spark & Hadoop Hive HBase for large-scale data handling) 
• Must be able to work with AML pipelines and DataBricks ELT workflows 
• Proficiency in SQL (MySQL Oracle Postgres). Writing complex queries performance tuning reverse engineering and Optimization of existing ETL Architectures and Workflows 
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail 3 - 5 years of relevant software engineering experience 
• Experience with Docker and some understanding with Kubernetes for scalable deployments. 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure for deploying applications and managing data. 
• Understanding and Working Experience in Java and Angular is considered a plus 
• Hands-on experience with version control systems () and CI/CD tools (GitHub workflows CI Test automation) 
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in an enterprise Agile/SCRUM environment 
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a Global Team and lead a team when required 
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business. 
• Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology or related field
