Scrum Master (FTC 12 Months)

Our next generation of real-time market data platform operates around the globe 24 x 7 connecting to 6 financial exchanges delivering real-time market data benchmark prices news content and research data to our customers around the world. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join our team to help shape and build our financial data platform that will help power the business through the next phase of its digital growth.

The new platform is being engineered for the Cloud as a set of scalable fault-tolerant microservices with rich web and mobile UIs. Our technology stack is largely Microsoft although we also leverage several open-source software tools adopted for the required job approach.

As a Scrum Master reporting into the Digital Platforms Delivery Manager your time will be focused on enabling a high-performing customer-focused product delivery team by applying Agile principles and Scrum practices. The Scrum Master is responsible for coaching the team and stakeholders removing impediments improving flow and ensuring predictable quality delivery of platform capabilities. The role drives continuous improvement through data fosters transparent communication and aligns delivery with business outcomes reliability standards and release readiness.

KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated driven and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.

Key Experience / Qualifications

A successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Scrum Master
• 2-6 years of experience in Agile Delivery
• 7-9 years of experience in working in an IT environment
• Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience facilitating cross-team and cross-geography planning and managing dependencies without bureaucracy
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams up to task completion
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles
• Experience in using other day-to-day task management tools such as JIRA Plandek
• Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies
• General PC knowledge including Microsoft 365 with expertise in Excel Copilot
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Confidence in backlog hygiene value slicing and partnering with Product Owners on prioritization
• Ability to create psychological safety while maintaining high standards and accountability
• Ability to visualize and optimize flow (e.g. reduce cycle time avoid WIP aging improve throughput)

A successful candidate might also have:

• Experience in scaled agile environments (SAFe LeSS) and leading PI Planning/synchronization
• Project Coordination or Project Management experience
• Experience with Agile software delivery models like Scrum and Kanban
