Classification Minimum Requirements:	This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus. Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis up to 20 hours per week.
Job Description:	The Opportunity The Student Health Care Center (SHCC) at the University of Florida is seeking a Student Assistant to join the Pharmacy department. The duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows: Patient Check-in Confirm the patients student registration status Enter insurance/payment information Obtain patient medication allergies and medication history. Communicate findings (if any) on the top left corner of the prescription Patient Check-out Answer telephones Clean shelves counter prescription baskets and behind computers. Shred confidential material Complete assigned outdates Cashiering Stock bags at each workstation Stock prescription container drawers Stock printers with labels and paper Typical Schedule: Hours/days vary 4-6 hour shifts. No shifts during break weeks and summer. About SHCC Pharmacy The UF Student Health Care Center Pharmacy is a full-service facility staffed by licensed pharmacists who fill prescriptions written by either in-house medical staff or licensed medical providers from other facilities. About the Student Health Care Center (SHCC) The mission of the SHCC is to help every student achieve optimal health in pursuing personal and academic success. Our vision is to be the preferred healthcare provider for University of Florida students as a nationally recognized leader in the collegiate health specialty. The SHCC is fully accredited by the AAAHC and is located in a new state-of-the-art WELL-certified building on UFs campus. Medical services offered at the SHCC include primary care sports medicine urgent care gynecology psychiatry allergy/immunization clinic and travel medicine.
