Trainee Sales Engineer - Automation
- Base Salary: $80000 - $100000

Youll be selling custom built fully automated bulk packaging Vertical Form Fill Seal systems with an average order value of $2 million. Every deal is engineered bespoke and operationally critical to your customers business.
Your conversations wont be about discounts. Theyll be about throughput uptime safety ROI and future-proofing operations.

What Youll Be Doing
Youll proactively learn and develop to own the full commercial lifecycle for your territory:
- Developing and executing a strategic sales plan across Houston
- Managing and growing key accounts while identifying new project opportunities
- Leading complex consultative sales processes from first conversation to contract signature
- Conducting site surveys and working closely with customers to define technical and operational requirements
- Writing and presenting detailed commercial proposals and forecasts
- Negotiating with senior stakeholders across engineering operations procurement and leadership teams
- Working cross functionally with engineering project delivery and service teams to ensure flawless execution
This is a field-based role with regular customer visits. Youll manage your own diary priorities and pipeline like a professional.
What Were Looking For:
- Educated in Engineering at degree level or above: Mechanical Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
- An ambitious hard working attitude. This is a steep learning curve and will require only the best to earn an outstanding career.
- Internal sales experience within engineering / manufacturing industries will be advantageous.
- Experience within hands on engineering roles will also be advantageous.
- Clear and concise communication skills to ensure you can lead client projects.
