About the Company

An international investment group with a portfolio spanning FinTech and iGaming sectors and operations spanning Portugal Malta and Australia has recently established a Cyprus office with plans to grow and expand their Cyprus and remote teams.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on autonomous role. You will be the on-the-ground technical expert for Cyprus ensuring employees have fully functional correctly configured systems from day one. When something breaks you fix it. When onboarding isnt working properly you diagnose and resolve it at source.

Key Responsibilities

• Own technical operations for the Cyprus team acting as the local technical authority
• Lead end-to-end technical onboarding - ensuring laptops security configurations firewalls VPNs and applications are correctly set up before handover
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across hardware software network and security layers
• Ensure seamless operation of MS365 Google Workspace and Slack for example - with ability to resolve configuration issues at admin level
• Liaise with the central IT team overseas escalating strategically while resolving locally wherever possible
• Manage MacBooks within an enterprise security framework
• Support Atlassian suite Xero and other business-critical applications

Requirements

• Substantial IT systems/infrastructure experience ideally within international organisations
• Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership
• Deep expertise with MS365 and Google Workspace administration
• Strong Slack experience at enterprise level - configuration SSO troubleshooting within secured environments
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience within tightly controlled IT environments
• MacBook deployment and MDM experience
• Atlassian and Xero familiarity advantageous
• Exceptional problem-solver who finds root causes not workarounds
• Based in Cyprus

This is a full-time contractor position with the possibility to become a permanent role fixture as the operations grow locally. You must be immediately available and able to dedicate full-time support to the contract whilst working remotely and onsite when needed.

Duration: to be discussed. Hourly rate/Day rate/Weekly rate to be discussed.

The right to work in the EU and based in Cyprus (preferably Limassol) is essential. Fluent English. Russian a plus.
