VP, Legal Counsel (Hybrid Flexible Options)

We are actively recruiting for a dynamic experienced corporate transactional attorney for the role of VP Legal Counsel to join our growing legal team. Our ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver and comfortable advising all levels of management. Candidate will have excellent negotiation and drafting skills decision-making abilities be able to prioritize projects and deadlines be collaborative organized and accountable while performing in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• You will prepare review and negotiate complex commercial contracts such as master services agreements services schedules statements of work amendments addenda strategic alliance agreements licenses and other business-related documents.
• You will solve unique and complex commercial legal and client regulatory issues with impact on the business unit or function and through conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions.
• You will review business practices and policies and advise management of potential risks and mitigations.
• You will analyze various legal and business issues discuss with subject matter experts and advise business leaders.
• You will support and advise business development and sales teams in creating and selling new products and services.
• You will assist account management in supporting long term client relationships.
• You will evaluate matters which may have a major bearing on the conduct of our organizations business.

Qualifications:

• It is required that you are licensed to practice law in the U.S. and a member of the bar in good standing
• A minimum of 5 years experience as a corporate or transactional lawyer in a premier law firm or part of that experience in a relevant in-house practice.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation experience is required.
• Requires ability to anticipate internal and external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommend process product or service improvements; solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business; contribute to the development of functional strategy; lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
• Skilled at communicating both verbally and in writing with customers and at the senior leadership-level.
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously within deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to participate as a member of a team assisting in other projects as needed or as assigned.
• J.D. from a top tier law school

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $235000 - $245000 Annual

Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidates final salary including but not limited to relevant experience skills and education.
