How you will do it
In the field: You will be responsible for occasionally working from ladders and lifting equipment by installing with field staff to maintain project schedules and to demonstrate correct installation for field staff development. Coordinate with subcontractors and quality check their installations. Working with the AHJ to secure approvals and coordinate necessary testing.
Revenue responsibility:Including implementing plans programs and processes designed to meet and exceed corporate goals andobjectivesas well as maximizing market potential of the installation business including new bookings (sales) revenue and profitability.
Customer Satisfaction:Responsible formaintainingeffective customer communications along with building solid customer relationships frominitialcontact through order acquisition deliveryinstallationand service. Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled while quickly resolving customer complaints concerning service and collection issues thereby minimizing customer concerns and enhancing customer relations.
Productivity Improvement:Responsible for setting fair and manageable territories for technicians. Ensure that fair and effective performance measurements are assigned and that employees are motivated to achieve and/or exceed their assigned goals andobjectivesutilizingmanagement tools and for being proficient at perform asrequiredand instruct/train all new and existing technical and fitter direct field staff.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all employeescomply withcorporate safety programs. Responsible to ensure that employee safety training is complete issues and hazards and notify corporate safety office of those conditions that require corrective responsible for driving a safety culture within the team directly reporting to you.
What we look for
Required
Demonstratesupervisory/leadershipabilities to include training team building presentation and negotiation skills district administration and effective interaction with customers.
Associate degreeor Equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5-10 years experience in a supervisory position.
Available for local/regional travel which may include nights and weekends to accommodate customers schedule.
One of the following licenses: California Fitters Card California Fire Life Safety license a California Electrical Journeyman license C10 or C16.
Preferred
BA Degree
NICET or other related Certifications
Project Management Institute PMP or CAPM certification
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $86000-$118000 (Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual group and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
