Position Overview

The Lead Event Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the planning coordination and execution of events from initial consultation through post-event completion. This role acts as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors and provides on-site leadership to ensure events are delivered in accordance with company standards timelines and client expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan coordinate and manage all logistical aspects of assigned events

  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients vendors venues and internal teams

  • Develop and maintain event timelines schedules and operational plans

  • Lead supervise and support event staff and contractors on event days

  • Oversee event setup execution and breakdown to ensure quality and safety standards are met

  • Monitor event progress and proactively resolve issues as they arise

  • Ensure compliance with company policies contractual obligations and brand standards

  • Complete post-event evaluations and reporting as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in event coordination event management or a related field

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as required

  • Ability to lift and transport event equipment as necessary

  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred
