Job Summary
Role: Cover Supervisor
Location: Somervale School
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: 31 hours per week 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday
Term Time Only plus 5 inset days
Salary: Grade 5 SCP 11 - 17

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Cover Supervisor to manage students during teachers absence. Work will be set by a qualified teacher and will need to be presented to students. The Cover Supervisor will need to manage the classroom to maintain a good learning environment support students with their learning and support subject areas with various duties.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To maintain a constructive learning environment
- To supervise pupils ensuring they work on task
- To support pupils where appropriate offering advice and guidance to pupils of all ages and abilities in order that their work is of a high standard
- To maintain behaviour and discipline of pupils in line with school policies
- To work with appropriate senior staff to ensure that school policies are adhered to
