Job Summary
General Summary
Responsible for planning scheduling coordinating and communicating all operating schedules to support ground network. Responsible for developing and maintaining planned routing for all products moving within the ground network. Responsible for supervising support team to oversee all trucking operating supporting the Road Transport.
What youll do
- Plan maintain and communicate routing transit and operating schedules across the ground network
- Coordinate network updates holiday schedules and changes with branches and service providers
- Monitor lane performance costs and capacity implementing contingencies when needed
- Support service provider administration contracts rate updates and performance scorecards
- Assist with linehaul procurement activities and RFP processes
- Track delays conduct root-cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Support freight payment activities including accessorial approvals and fuel surcharge audits
- Supervise train and schedule a team.
- Rotating shift pattern of days and nights is required.
Qualifications :
What youll bring
- 25 years experience in transportation operations or logistics management
- Strong organisational coordination and communication skills
- Experience working with service providers routing or linehaul operations
- Ability to analyse data related to routes costs and capacity
- Supervisory or teamlead experience preferred
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain or related field (preferred)
