Job Summary
JOB OBJECTIVE:
Develop manage and grow lending relationships in the corporate segment driven through quality service and applied management. To ensure that all transaction processing is in compliance with regulatory and PBICLs policies procedures and standards with prompt intervention to resolve problems/ concern areas. Interacting with existing / potential customers for providing leads for the additional business.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively manage the onboarding process of corporate clients under the supervision of the assigned Team Leader.
- Supervise Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs) in handling day-to-day coordination with the Credit Administration Department legal counsel and clients.
- Prepare credit proposals and conduct credit reviews in accordance with internal policies.
- Oversee ARMs in addressing and resolving queries raised by the Credit Risk Management Department related to credit proposals.
- Present credit proposals to the Credit Committee jointly with the Team Leader (when required) Assist the Compliance Department in conducting due diligence of corporate clients.
- Evaluate and execute investment banking syndicate transactions including screening valuation structuring and preparation of term sheets negotiations documentation and completion of all pre- and post-disbursement formalities.
- Liaise with internal and external legal counsel Credit Risk Management commercial banks and external consultants to review documentation and ensure effective coordination throughout the facility documentation process.
- Coordinate with the Department Head and Team Leaders on departmental budgeting target market selection and customer propositions in line with the banks strategy.
- Analyze client requirements manage client communications and advisory support and prepare required documentation.
Any other assignments as per directives of the line manager/management
ACADEMIC:
MBA/BBA (with majors in Finance) or BS Accounting & Finance or ACCA
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
2-4 years of experience in Banking/Finance industry.
