- Collaborate with development to ensure a smooth handover of completed features andreleases into testing and deployment phases.
- Oversee and maintain high-quality testing standards ensuring all releases meet functionalperformance and user experience expectations.
- Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) validating new features and resolving defects prior to production release.
- Design document and continuously improve testing procedures scripts and checklists to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Support the implementation and refinement of automated and manual testing frameworks to ensure product reliability.
- Identify areas for process improvement in testing and deployment workflows driving continuous quality enhancement initiatives.
- Prepare and manage deployment plans ensuring readiness of environments data and configurations prior to release.
- Coordinate and execute software deployments to staging and production environments with minimal downtime and risk.
- Monitor post-deployment performance validating stability and verifying that fixes andfeatures function as intended.
- Work closely with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issuesdiscovered during testing or deployment.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for test results configurations release notes andenvironment details.
- Ensure adherence to security compliance and quality assurance standards across alldeployment activities.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on testing protocols deployment bestpractices and quality control measures.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science SoftwareEngineering or a related field (a relevant diploma with strong experience may also beconsidered).
- Certification in Software Testing (e.g. ISTQB) or Quality Assurance would beadvantageous.
- Project Management or Implementation-related certification (e.g. Prince2 PMP orAgile/Scrum) preferred.
Experience:
- 35 years of experience in software implementation quality assurance or testingroles ideally within a small to medium-sized software company.
- Proven track record of leading or coordinating implementation teams and deliveringsuccessful client rollouts.
- Experience with test planning execution and defect management processes and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or clients simultaneously.
- Exposure to ERP or custom software deployments would be beneficial.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and implementationmethodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working closely with clients andcross-functional teams.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities with a hands-on approach.
