Job Summary
Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced dynamic organization. Reporting to the APAC & EMEA Treasury Manager you will work independently to manage treasury functions in 9 countries across APAC and 27 countries across EMEA. You will be responsible for the day-to-day cash management cashflow forecasts bank accounts and bank relationships funding and liquidity trade finance and foreign exchange. You will work closely with internal stakeholders including Finance Legal Tax Business Partners and external stakeholders including banks legal and professional advisors.
Key Area of Responsibility:
Cash and Banking
- Manage APAC & EMEA daily cash positions and work closely with the Shared Service Centre (SSC) teams to ensure adequate funding for daily operational and working capital needs in 17 APAC entities in 9 countries and 31 EMEA entities in 27 countries
- Prepare daily cash balance reports for all APAC & EMEA entities
- Manage funding for payroll and other payment obligations
- Act as contact point for the banks on operational and KYC requirements
- Oversee APAC & EMEA bank accounts operations signatories update and online banking platforms; ensure appropriate controls in place to maintain secure access; maintain up to date banking signatories and user access
- Manage account opening and account closure processes
- Understand regulatory requirements for managing cash in each country
- Respond to audit requests
Funding and Liquidity
- Review weekly APAC & EMEA regional cash forecast working closely with Finance teams to review and identify priority of funding needs and ensure sufficient funding to meet all financial obligations
- Determine regional liquidity needs and work with Group Treasury team to manage funding across the Group
- Manage intercompany settlements within region; maintain monthly intercompany loan tracking and documentation
Other
- Manage bank guarantee issuances for APAC & EMEA businesses
- Review bank fees and prepare the relevant reports for review
- Monitor ongoing Treasury project implementation
- Support ad hoc Treasury projects
