What Youll Do
As the HR Country Specialist for Brazil you will:
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure full compliance with Brazilian labor laws collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and government reporting requirements.
- Maintain country-specific HR policies documentation and processes.
- Lead and manage implementation of policy and compliance changes at the country level.
HR Program Management
- Coordinate annual HR cycles (e.g. compensation reviews performance management) in partnership with HR Business Partners and global Centers of Expertise.
- Administer benefits programs (health dental life insurance meal/transportation vouchers statutory and non-statutory benefits).
- Manage vendor relationships invoicing and compliance for benefits programs.
- Oversee Leave of Absence processes (e.g. INSS maternity/paternity leave sick leave) ensuring accurate tracking and compliance.
- Provide accurate HR data for planning and timely submissions to authorities.
Employee Relations & Advisory
- Partner with HRBPs and leaders on employee relations matters including performance improvement plans.
- Act as a trusted advisor on local policy and compliance issues.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize HR processes.
- Develop documentation training and tools to enable repeatability and self-service.
What You Bring
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor laws CBAs and government reporting requirements.
- Proven experience managing HR programs and compliance in Brazil.
- Ability to interpret and implement HR policies independently.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong collaboration skills across HR teams and external partners.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of HR experience including expertise in CBAs and compliance.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
- Experience managing benefits wellbeing and occupational health programs.
- Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and reporting tools.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and negotiate effectively.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
