We have an exciting newopportunity for acustomer focussedand inspiringtechnicalleader to join ourDigitalServices Teamat PHF Science.
As part of the Business Services Group the Digital Services Team works across the enterprise to deliver enhance and support customised and bespoke software-based solutions.
The Support and Delivery Team Leadis responsible forleading both the Desktop Support and Application Support teams. These teams provide Level 1 and 2 support across both desktop platforms and the specialised solutions used by our scientists and business services. The role ensures that PHF Science staff receive excellent andtimelytechnical support. This includes effective management of procedures related to identification prioritisation and resolution of incidents and problems including the monitoringtrackingand coordination of support functions.
Thisis a busyand hands on position where no two days are the same andplenty of opportunity for improvement andprojects to keep you interested and challenged.

To be successful in this role you will have the following:
Relevant tertiary education or equivalent experienceand an ITIL qualification
Leadership and mentoring experienceanda natural bent for fostering a positiveand inclusiveteam culture
Progressiveexperience in operational ITwithin a scientific technology driven environment
A systematic approach to problem solving and sound judgement to differentiate between business needs businessrequirementsand functional requirements.
Proven successes leading medium sized projects (i.e.windows upgrades etc service enhancements)
Understanding and experience of the Solution Delivery lifecycle
A deep understanding of ITSM principles and their application
Excellent communicationand relationship skills; able to successfully build strong relationships and engage with a diverse range of people at all levels in an organisation.
