We are looking for an experienced EH&S and Facilities Lead to join a team of dedicated supportive and enthusiastic people to help create the future of manufacturing.
The primary function of this role is to support the company achieve a zero-injury workplace. You will develop implement and maintain safety programs processes and procedures. Building a strong safety culture through empowering employees to have an unconditional commitment to safety. You will also be responsible for general facilities management.
What Youll Do
- Lead Safety & EHS Programs: Develop implement and maintain safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance employee well-being and continuous improvement.
- Conduct Audits Inspections & Risk Assessments: Perform regular EHS audits inspections and risk assessments while tracking findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead Employee Training & Coaching: Schedule and conduct safety training mentor employees and foster a proactive safety culture.
- Manage Incident Response & Compliance Reporting: Oversee investigations of incidents near misses and OSHA reporting to ensure timely corrective action.
- Support Workers Compensation & Wellness Initiatives: Collaborate with HR to manage compensation claims and execute programs supporting employee wellness.
- Collaborate on Safety-Driven Design & Equipment Compliance: Work with engineering and design teams to align with environmental and safety standards.
- Oversee Facilities Management: Manage daily operations preventative maintenance vendor relationships and ensure a safe clean and compliant workplace.
- Develop Emergency Preparedness Programs: Plan and lead emergency drills and response strategies to address risks across safety and facilities.
Who You Are
- 4 Years of experience leading EHS efforts in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of safety and health hazards identification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adept in developing and delivering safety training.
- Proven ability to gain rapport and effectively engage with employees to develop a safety culture on the production floor is critical.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA requirements and can implement them effectively.
