Job Summary
Whatyoullbe doing in this role:
You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of orthopaedic subspecialties including; joint replacement and revision surgery(hip knee shoulder) complex spine procedures.
Reporting to the Operating Suite Nurse Unit Manager you will be supported to thrive in a collaborative inclusive and highly skilled perioperative environment. Our large perioperative service supports 19 modern operating theatres offering exposure to a varied and rewarding caseload whilemaintaininga strong focus on patient-centred best-practice care.
What we are looking for:
- Current AHPRA registration with2-3years experienceas a scrub/scout Nurse
- Demonstrated experience withintheOrthopaedic surgeries- Sound knowledge of orthopaedic instrumentation implants and prostheses
- Ability toanticipatesurgeon needs andmaintaina sterile field throughout procedures
- Flexibility to work across a range of shifts including morningandevenings
- Effective coordination of theatre workflow and case preparation
- The ability to use your initiative and critical problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
