Were looking for an experienced and proactive team member to step into an Assessing Coordinator role supporting our assessing response during events and peak periods.
This role plays a key part in coordinating assessments supporting Assessors and Repairers and helping deliver a smooth and reassuring experience for our customers when it matters most.
Please note this is a 12-month secondment opportunity. We are open to internal applications from Brisbane Toowoomba Townsville Sydney Melbourne & Perth.
What youll do
Coordinate assessing activity including allocating Assessors Repairers and Building Coordinators
Proactively engage with customers and stakeholders to manage assessments during events
Support event and catastrophe response including coordinating surge and temporary resources
Identify and escalate safety risk or sensitive claims appropriately
Provide reporting and data insights to support performance and business decisions
Contribute to process improvements and deliver brilliant service across all interactions
What youll bring
Experience in customer service or operational roles within general insurance
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work calmly and effectively in fast-paced high-volume environments
A customer-first mindset with empathy resilience and sound judgement
Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving capability
Willingness to learn adapt and contribute positively to the team
