Job Summary
A successful candidate knows and loves working with BI tools is comfortable accessing and working with data from multiple sources and can partner with internal stakeholders to help drive the business.
Key job responsibilities
- Collect analyze and present actionable data for Prime Video Channels Business
- Understand high-level business objectives
- Continually align work with defined business objectives to achieve desired business outcomes
- Analyze and solve problems at their root including understanding the broader context
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis
- Manage data integrity test design analysis validation and accurate documentation
- Write code to retrieve and analyze data
- Learn and understand a broad range of Amazons data resources
- Leverage knowledge to know when how and which data resources align best with desired business outcomes
About the team
The team is primarily based in Seattle and Culver City with additional presence in New York and London. A data-driven organization focused on Prime Videos growth and commerce analytics with strong representation in business intelligence data engineering and product management functions supporting Prime Videos commercial and analytical needs.
Cross-functional team building intelligent systems that integrate content and data to deliver personalized customer experiences across streaming live events and emerging formats.
- 2 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift Oracle NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2 DynamoDB S3 and Redshift
- Experience in data mining ETL etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale complex datasets

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
