This exempt supervisory role reports to the AVP of Collections and oversees a team of approximately 6 Collection/Resolution and Asset Recovery Specialists. The Collections Supervisor plays a key role in preserving credit union assets while ensuring fair compliant and member-focused collection practices.

What youll do as the Collections Supervisor (Responsibilities):
- Direct and monitor all collection activities through regular review of collection queues to ensure compliance with TEG standards
- Recommend accounts for charge-off and identify hardship and workout loan opportunities to support members
- Perform quality assurance on inbound and outbound collection calls; review results with staff and coach on strengths and improvement areas
- Assist with hiring training evaluating and conducting performance reviews for department staff
- Manage and approve time sheets time-off requests and conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports
- Handle escalated or complex collection cases by working directly with borrowers to resolve delinquency issues
- Assist with administration and oversight of collection and payment systems (including Carm Pro and RePay) analyzing usage and identifying process improvements
- Collaborate with the AVP of Collections on collections policies strategies and program enhancements
- Fill in for department coverage needs including during vacations to ensure all queues are worked according to standards
What were looking for (Qualifications):
- 35 years of collections experience preferably within a financial institution
- Supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred
- In-depth understanding of regulations impacting collection activities
- Knowledge of consumer and real estate lending practices and procedures
- Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
- Logical analytical and critical-thinking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to work with collections software systems
- High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality
Pay: $65000 - $72000 / year based on experience. Plus eligible for annual Bonus.
