Position Summary

As aCrew Memberat Jersey Mikes youll be an essential part of our team who helps deliver A Sub Above experience by providing friendly customer service preparing delicious sandwiches to order and maintaining a clean and welcoming store. This role is ideal for energetic customer-oriented individuals who enjoy teamwork and fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service throughout their visit.

• Take accurate orders and process payments using the POS system.

• Prepare and assemble cold and hot subs to customer specifications following Jersey Mikes quality standards.

• Handle food safely and follow sanitation and safety guidelines at all times.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in workstations dining areas and restrooms.

• Restock ingredients supplies and other operational items as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations especially during busy periods.

• Uphold Jersey Mikes standards for restaurant presentation and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Friendly customer-service oriented attitude.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team-driven setting.

• Basic math and cash-handling abilities.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Must be able to follow food safety and hygiene practices.

• Must be 18 years of age or older to slice in store.

Preferred

• Previous experience in food service or retail is a plus (but not required).

• Food handler or ServeSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced restaurant environment.

• Standing for long periods and occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.

• Flexible scheduling may include mornings evenings weekends and holidays.
