Tampa Pain Relief is hiring an Entry-Level Medical Assistant to join our Sarasota-area clinics. This role is ideal for new graduates career changers or gapâyear candidates who are reliable eager to learn and interested in clinical patient care.
â We provide paid on-the-job training
â No medical certification required
â Mentorship with a manager throughout training
ðº What Youll Do
You will work closely with 23 providers at a time in a structured team-based clinic environment. With training and support your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with patient intake vital signs and medical histories
- Supporting providers during exams and minor procedures
- Completing clinical documentation and charting in the EMR
- Communicating with patients regarding procedures instructions and follow-ups
- Coordinating with pharmacies and external offices
- Preparing exam rooms and maintaining clinic flow
- Assisting with both front and back office tasks as needed
This is a busy clinic but you will not be expected to know everything on day one.
