Coordinator (Payroll Operations)

  • Base salary range: $95231 $100643 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity

  • You are responsible for ensuring the integrity accuracy and compliance of payroll processing. Working in close collaboration with the Team Leader Payroll Operations this position will ensure compliance with University policies legislation audit requirements and relevant Enterprise Agreements.
  • Your role will contribute to a service-orientated culture to deliver operational and service excellence and will contribute within the team to the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • You will partner with the Team Leader Payroll Operations to review payroll processes to identify risks and improvements to ensure compliance efficiency and accurateness.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Relevant administrative experience at an appropriate level in a related role.
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) aPay highly desirable.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with trusted judgement and integrity.
  • Deep understanding of payroll process practice applicable policy legislation audit requirements and Enterprise Agreements.

Special Requirements

  • Employment checks will include information on gender-based violence sexual harassment and related misconduct to meet legal obligations.
  • A current National Police Clearance.
