Our client apremier luxury conservation and tourism destinationin KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a dynamic and results-drivenSales Executiveto join their growing team.
This role is responsible for driving accommodation conferencing group and outdoor education revenue across the reserves portfolio. Working closely with the Head of Sales the successful candidate will focus on increasing occupancies expanding market share (including domestic) and growing the outdoor education and conferencing offering.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Sales and Revenue GenerationOutdoor Education Sales (MICE)Client Relationship Management as well as Collaboration and Reporting working closely with the Head of Sales to align strategies and targets coordinate with Reservations Marketing and Operations to ensure seamless client delivery provide regular sales reports pipeline updates and forecasts and track performance against agreed KPIs and revenue targets.
Must have a relevant completed bachelors degree with a minimum5 years sales experiencewithin the hospitality tourism or safari lodge sector with a proven track record in a Sales Executive or Sales Consultant role. Strong knowledge of the South African tourism industry especially luxury safari experience is advantageous.
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills with strong administrative reporting and CRM discipline as well as a willingness to travel within KwaZulu-Natal and a valid drivers licence are essential.
