Heading: The Role: Internal Sales Diesel Fuel Injection (Parow)
The purpose of this role is to manage internal sales specializing in diesel fuel injection at the Parow branch. The role exists to proactively market product lines meet monthly sales targets and expand the business across the diesel pump room customer group. It contributes to the business by assisting with product range expansion finding new suppliers for diesel parts and maintaining customer relationships through prompt service and logistical updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers via email or phone to advise on promotions and market product lines.
- Meet a monthly sales target and expand the business across the diesel pump rooms customer group.
- Assist the Product Development Specialist with product range expansion and the introduction of new diesel part suppliers.
- Visit main customers on occasion to maintain relationships and assist other sales staff with diesel part queries.
- Complete invoices accurately and open COD accounts for counter cash sales customers to expand the database.
- Update and release backorders ensuring orders are placed for customers.
- Provide prompt updates on logistical delivery or supply issues and communicate potential account problems to the line manager.
- Process customer claims and returns and complete lost sales reports for products that could not be supplied
About You
- Possession of a Matric certificate.
- Extensive knowledge of the diesel fuel injection industry.
- Proven experience in sales in a similar role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Trade Test and Training Certification in Diesel Fuel Injection (highly advantageous).
- Knowledge of the industry and products (advantageous).
