The Opportunity
A high-performing secondary school in Haringey is looking for an ambitious Mathematics ECT to join a faculty that consistently achieves in the top 5% nationally for Progress 8. As a Lead School for the regional Maths Hub this school offers a unique environment where new teachers are treated as researchers-in-residence working at the cutting edge of Mastery-based learning.
Role Details
Instructional Focus: Delivering high-impact lessons across KS3 and KS4 with a focus on cognitive load theory.
Sixth Form Transition: Be mentored by the Head of Further Maths gaining early exposure to A-Level teaching.
Departmental Culture: Collaborative planning sessions every Monday to reduce individual workload.
