The Opportunity
Join an elite independent school renowned for its scientific heritage and world-class laboratory facilities. We are looking for a specialist in Biology Chemistry or Physics to join a faculty of over 15 specialist scientists. This is a role for a teacher who loves the hands-on nature of science and wants to work with students who are genuinely passionate about discovery.
Role & Responsibilities
Subject Specialism: While you will teach General Science at KS3 your primary focus will be delivering your specialism at IGCSE and A-Level. The school follows the rigorous IGCSE curriculum to ensure a solid foundation for further study.
Practical Excellence: Designing and delivering undergraduate-spec practical experiments. You will be supported by a dedicated lab technician for your specific subject area.
Research Mentorship: Supervising students through their Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) in STEM subjects guiding them through experimental design and data analysis.
STEM Outreach: Leading the Young Scientists program and coordinating the schools participation in the Science Olympiads.
