The Role You will teach General Science at KS3 and your degree specialism at KS4. The role focuses on delivering safe inquiry-based practical lessons while completing the Early Career Framework with a focus on dual-coding and cognitive science. Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering practical-heavy Science lessons to all key stages
Working with specialist technicians to prepare and execute lab experiments
Using digital assessment tools to track student diagnostic data
Participating in weekly mentorship meetings focused on pedagogical theory
Contributing to STEM enrichment clubs and Science Olympiad prep
