Our client are seeking a reliable organised and proactive Science Technician to join a welcoming school in West London. This is a vital support role within the science department well suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and supporting high-quality practical science lessons for pupils and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting and preparing practical lessons alongside the Science Teachers
Ensuring equipment and materials are safely stored when not in use
Guiding staff and pupils in correct Health & Safety policies
Maintaining and repairing all resources when required
Keeping track of what is out of stock and making the necessary orders when needed
Disposing of hazardous waste in a safe manner
The Ideal Candidate will have
Right to work in the UK
Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
UK Science Degree or overseas equivalent
Health & Safety knowledge
Experience in a lab setting or as a Science Technician in a UK school
