Our client is a Norwegian startup building next-generation home automation solutions for a more sustainable and energy-efficient future. Their products connect hardware software and cloud technologies to help households optimize energy usage and reduce their environmental footprint.
We are now looking for a Firmware Developer who loves Linux and is comfortable using modern containerized workflows.
Develop and maintain firmware for embedded Linux-based devices
Design and implement services using modern languages such as Go Rust or C
Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and related tooling
Collaborate closely with hardware backend and product teams
Participate in architecture decisions and help shape our clients technical direction
Strong experience with Linux programming especially on embedded or small systems
Hands-on experience with Docker and container-based workflows
Proficiency in Go Rust or C (professional experience with at least one)
Solid understanding of operating systems networking and system-level programming
Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
Fluent in English (Norwegian is a plus but not required)
Experience with IoT home automation or energy systems
Familiarity with cross-compilation build systems or Yocto/Buildroot
Knowledge of secure device provisioning and OTA updates
Interest in sustainability and green technology
