M&A Intern Biomethane Acquisitions (f/m/d)

Are you passionate about energy transition and eager to gain hands-on experience in M&A processes Join us as an M&A Intern and support our biomethane acquisition activities. This 6-month internship offers an exciting opportunity to work on live transactions and market assessments in a fast-growing sector.
What you will do:
Assist the acquisition project manager with day-to-day project management tasks including preparing presentations coordinating workstreams and synthesizing complex information
Conduct market screening analyses and market studies to identify opportunities
Support the senior investment manager in financial analysis and valuation work
Develop and enhance standardized tools and frameworks for project execution
Participate in internal and selected external meetings to gain exposure to transaction processes
What you bring & who you are:
Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Economics Engineering or a related field
Proficient in Excel; experience with financial modeling and DCF analysis is a strong plus
Structured and independent working style with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Genuine interest in the energy transition and sustainability-focused investments
Highly motivated curious and eager to learn
Fluent in English both written and spoken
