The Role

This role is critical to Overjets next phase of product development. As a key member of the Engineering Team you will be responsible for architecting and building Overjets Agentic AI platform from the ground up reporting to our Head of Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build a new Agentic AI platform from first principles

• Own end-to-end implementation of agentic systems from orchestration through production deployment

• Drive core technical decisions and partner closely with engineering and product leadership

• Build production-grade systems that operate in regulated enterprise environments

• Establish engineering standards tooling and best practices as the platform scales

• Collaborate with ML scientists product managers and enterprise stakeholders

• Mentor senior engineers and help shape the technical direction of the team

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience

• 10 years of experience building and shipping production software systems

• Hands-on experience with building agentic AI systems or autonomous workflows in production

• Proven experience leading or owning 01 platform or product initiatives

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience building backend or platform systems

• Experience deploying AI systems in enterprise environments with reliability and observability in mind

• Familiarity with modern AI frameworks and agent orchestration tools

• Strong problem-solving skills and a high-ownership mindset

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced technical and mission-focused environment

Many of our positions are based in San Mateo New York City Boston Salt Lake City and Lahore. The Jetsetters who live in these geo-hubs come to the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays while having the option to work from home the rest of the week.
