Generations Oversight

Our Gold Coast Central team are currently looking for a part-time (4days/week) Generations Oversight to join the team. This role will be responsible for providing pastoral leadership and strategic oversight for all Age Groups at the Campus cultivating a culture of discipleship spiritual growth and volunteer leadership development.

Other aspects of this role include:

Volunteers

• Provide strategic and pastoral leadership for all Age Groups including PM services through a volunteer-led model.
• Build train and empower strong volunteer leadership teams.
• Ensure volunteers are supported equipped and cared for.
• Engage parents/guardians as partners in discipleship.
• Uphold Safe Church principles across all ministry environments.
• Participate in campus-wide events planning and leadership initiatives.
• Collaborate with departments and leaders to strengthen unity and volunteer engagement.

Discipleship & Pastoral Support

• Lead discipleship pathways (RDGs/connect groups and leadership development) across all Age Groups.
• Support New Christians in their faith journey through volunteer involvement.
• Use pastoral tools (e.g. Planning Center) to manage processes.
• Train and release volunteers to disciple and care for students.
• Respond to and report safety concerns with Safe Church and campus leadership.

Services & Events

• Provide leadership and vision for Sunday night services in alignment with campus direction.
• Coordinate and empower volunteers across all ministry areas.
• Develop emerging volunteer leaders and communicators.
• Model a volunteer-led culture of service ownership and initiative.

Venue & Maintenance

• Steward the venue assisting with maintenance and contractor coordination as needed.

Ideally the successful candidate will bring:

• Bachelors degree in Ministry Theology Youth Work or related field (strongly preferred).
• Proven leadership experience in kids/youth ministry especially with high school age.
• Ability to pastorally care for and disciple young people.
• Experience leading training and mentoring volunteer teams.
• Strong relational ministry skills with students parents and leaders.
• Understanding of youth/young adult spiritual and developmental needs.
• Knowledge of leadership development in a ministry context.
• Clear grasp of Christian discipleship models youth culture and age appropriate faith communication.
