About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and curious AI/ML Engineer to join us on a part-time contract this role you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design build and optimize intelligent systems that power real-world applications. Youll play a key role in developing scalable AI solutions particularly around document intelligence retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and LLM-powered workflows.

What Youll Do:

• Design develop and maintain AI/ML-driven backend services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Build and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance LLM-based applications.
• Integrate and manage vector databases such as Pinecone Weaviate or Chroma for semantic search and retrieval use cases.
• Work extensively with the OpenAI API and LangChain framework to create robust scalable AI workflows.
• Develop document processing pipelines including text extraction and parsing from PDFs DOCX files and other formats.
• Perform web scraping and data extraction using tools such as BeautifulSoup and Scrapy.
  Collaborate with product engineering and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Continuously improve system performance reliability and scalability through testing and optimization.

You Are:

• An experienced AI/ML Engineer with 3 years of Python development experience including FastAPI or Flask.
• Hands-on with vector databases and semantic search technologies.
• Proficient in working with LLMs the OpenAI API and the LangChain framework.
• Comfortable building end-to-end RAG systems and document intelligence solutions.
• Detail-oriented problem-solving focused and capable of working independently in a contract-based role.
• A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and takes ownership of deliverables.
• Passionate about learning experimentation and applying AI to solve real business problems.

Contract Details:

Contract Duration: Weeks 116
Weekly Commitment: 20 hours (Part-time)
