Job Summary

Requirements:

BSc in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is mandatory while an MSc in Structural Engineering is preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in steel structures or PEB design with proven experience working with PEB manufacturers or steel building companies.
Preferred universities include UET NED NUST or other equivalent recognized institutions.
Expertise in structural analysis software such as SAP2000 and STAAD Pro with experience in connection design tools such as IDEA StatiCa (preferred).
Strong knowledge of PEB design methodology steel connection design ETABS and structural optimization.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the PEB structural design team while reviewing and approving structural calculations drawings and complete design packages.
Perform structural analysis and design of PEB frames bracing systems crane beams mezzanine floors and secondary members.
Ensure compliance with relevant design codes and standards including AISC ASCE IBC/UBC and MBMA (preferred).
Optimize steel design to improve cost efficiency and reduce structural weight.
Coordinate closely with internal departments including Sales and Estimation Production and Fabrication and Project Management and Erection teams.
Provide technical support during fabrication and site erection while reviewing connection designs and coordinating with detailing teams.
Support value engineering initiatives during the project design stage.
