The internship is finalized through a tripartite agreement between the selected student their university and Dow Jones. We recommend that you check with your university that you are eligible to complete this internship as a part of your degree/program before application.

About the Role:


We are seeking a highly motivated AI-native intern to join our Strategy Operations team in Barcelona for Summer 2026. This role is designed to accelerate our Technology Operations and TechElevate objectives as we transition into FY27.


Your mission will be to evolve our capabilities toward AI-driven content personalization and workflow automation for internal L&D and process improvement projects. You will be at the forefront of modernizing how we manage transformations deliver learning and enhance operations through innovative AI thinking.

You Will:

  • As a Strategy Operations Intern you will directly support our FY26 objectives of Fostering a Culture of Learning and Streamlining Processes. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Build an AI Proof of Concept (PoC): Develop a PoC for an AI Agent or Engine integrated into our tools to personalize content and enable faster research.

  • Workflow Automation: Identify and automate workflows for critical functions such as Reporting Onboarding and Training.

  • Operational Governance: Collaborate with our broader team specifically working alongside our Governance Intern to reduce manual oversight in areas like Jira Governance and onboarding processes.

  • Content Modernization: Use advanced AI tools to evolve our training materials and documentation from static content to personalized automated experiences.

  • Strategic Support: Assist in the ongoing development of the TechElevate program and support the members of the broader team as needed.

You Have:

  • AI-Native Mindset: An intuitive understanding of how to prompt chain and deploy AI agents to solve complex non-linear problems.

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT/Gemini as well as creative and workflow platforms like GoogleVids Synthesia Midjourney and custom GPTs.

  • Analytical Skills: The ability to measure the impact of your projects by tracking engagement rates and identifying operational pain points.

  • Project Management: A self-starter attitude with the ability to manage the full lifecycle of a PoC from initial stakeholder interviews to final delivery.

  • Collaboration: A fresh and ambitious mindset with the ability to work closely with other interns and cross-functional teams.
