Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday
Location: The Learning Experience Jenison MI
- Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe nurturing and engaging classroom environment.
- Assist with implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum engaging children in play-based learning and daily routines.
- Help guide classroom activities including circle time sensory play early literacy art and outdoor exploration.
- Build positive relationships with children and families through daily communication and a friendly professional presence.
- Assist with meal times diapering or toileting classroom organization and maintaining safety and cleanliness.
- Work collaboratively with center leadership to uphold licensing standards and classroom quality.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with children in a daycare preschool or childcare program preferred.
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus.
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).
- Must meet all Michigan childcare licensing requirements.
- Dependable team-oriented and passionate about early learning.
