Job Summary

Position Role: Command the Army Adventurous Training Group and act as the Army champion for Adventurous Leadership and Resilience Training (ALeRT).
Responsibilities:
1. Comd the Army AT Gp its HQ 3 Centres and approx 300 staff.
2. Army AT Champion and principal advisor to the Army on all AT delivery.
3. Manage the delivery of Leadership and Resilience Training and ALDP courses to 22000 SP annually.
4. Provide planning assurance supporting resources and advice to the CoC for approx 25000 SP annually on ALeRT expeditionary activity.
5. Contribute to the development of Joint and Army AT policy through Pers Pol and CDP TSLD (JSAT Steering Gp).
6. Lead and assure the delivery the 6 Army sponsored JSAT activities and support the maintenance of the integrity of the JSAT Scheme.
7. Ensure suitable AT Governance Assurance and Safety Risk Management systems and policies are in place and complied with by all participants.
8. Manage AATG financial personnel and equipment resources in accordance with GOC AITCs letter of delegation and wider Defence policies.
