Overview:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing managing and optimizing SHGs owned and earned media strategies across multiple brands. This highly tactical role requires strong content development skills fluency in brand management and confidence overseeing agency and vendor partners.
You will drive the execution of weekly campaigns seasonal initiatives and new concept launcheswhile keeping content pipelines flowing calendars organized and brand identities distinct. This role also serves as the key internal storyteller responsible for capturing the people food and values that power SHGs community.
This is not a branding-only or strategy-only role. Success depends on your ability to deliver high-quality execution consistently and translate operational inputs into compelling content and campaigns.
Position Details:
Ø Owned Media Management
o In collaboration with digital agency partner plan and manage weekly email sends organic social content and loyalty program messaging
o Capture or coordinate photo/video content for storytelling across all channels
o Maintain brand websites landing pages and Google Business profiles
o Lead internal content calendar across all SHG brands and concepts
o Own day-to-day relationship with creative/digital vendors and freelancers
o Build and maintain organized asset libraries for each brand
Ø Earned Media & Community Management
o Coordinate community partnerships nonprofit collabs and in-store cause marketing
o Support PR efforts through content support and coordination with external partners
o Source and respond to press opportunities and influencer requests
o Support internal storytelling (staff spotlights events culture) for employer brand
Ø Agency Vendor & Project Coordination
o Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple initiatives and agency partners (e.g. digital agency freelance designers)
o Act as an internal brief writer and editor to translate business goals into clear deliverables
o Ensure quality and brand accuracy across all outsourced content
Ø Campaigns & Launches
o Execute microplans for new location openings LTOs pop-ups events and seasonal promotions
o Support catering and retail events with collateral signage and promotion
o Track and report on campaign outcomes across email social and in-store channels
Ø Performance Tracking
o Maintain simple dashboards or scorecards by brand (email social content volume web traffic etc.)
o Flag missed deadlines underperforming channels or execution issues early
o Contribute to annual and quarterly reporting in partnership with leadership

o Defined marketing metrics are achieved
o Each brands voice and identity is distinct consistent and cohesive
o Weekly content is delivered on time and rooted in SHGs people product and places
o Campaigns and launches are organized supported and tracked
o Creative and vendor partners feel clear aligned and well-managed
o Marketing output supports sales goals community impact and brand growth
Essential Skills:
o 45 years of tactical marketing experience including content execution and campaign management
o Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple brands or locations
o Strong writing project management and calendar coordination skills
o Hands-on experience with email social and website platforms
o Hospitality food & beverage or multiunit retail experience preferred
Bonus Skills:
o Canva Adobe or similar creative platforms
o Email platforms (Mailchimp Klaviyo etc.)
o Website CMS tools (Squarespace Wordpress)
o Google Business Yelp and review management tools
